While I was waiting for my Pre-order to arrive, I thought I would create another tutorial.
This one is one of my favorite techniques, Crayon resist, you can do so much with this technique, you can use more then one color of ink for dabbing, or you can use just one color as i have done here.
Enjoy!
Supplies Needed:
Kleenex
Glossy Cardstock
Stazon Ink
Your favorite Stamp Set
Classic ink
Crayon (hate to say it but Crayola has worked the best for me)
Sponge Daubers
Directions:
1. Stamp your image onto your piece of Glossy cardstock

2. Give it a minute to dry, this is so your image stays crisp and doesn't smudge when rubbing off the crayon.

3. Color the image with your crayon where you do not want ink to stay, in this case I drew over the whole Giraffe. Don't worry about getting the drawing right on the lines, it actually looks better when it doesn't match!!

4. Fill your sponge dauber with ink by rubbing the dauber over the inkpad. you will have to do this several times as you work over the picture.

5. Dab over the picture, you don't have to fill the entire image, just where you cant color, in this case, i am covering the whole giraffe with one color of ink, but if you wanted you could do his spots a different color then the rest of his body, or what ever you wish, being sure to use a new sponge dauber for each color as the colors could mix.

6. Using your kleenex, rub over the entire image, this will rub off the crayon and leave uninked lines where you drew with the crayon.

This is what your images should look like once completed.

And this is what I created with these cute giraffes, I CASE'd this layout from one of my fellow SBS Sisters Kanani,

The crayon resist technique looks so easy! It is one that I have never tried. I will now!
I love the Bundle of Joy stamp set. Wish I had it! Your cards turned out cute, I'm flattered you cased me!
