Home Decor, Stampin' Up! Style!

In my home office, we have a day-bed, and I want to keep all the pillows on the bed brown, but do you think i could find some? Nope, well i should say nope, I did find some that were over $30.00 each! Youch! So I decided to make my own!!

And after not much work at all, here one pillow is, I am working on another one, but waiting on a new Bigz die, before i finish it, so you will have to wait for that one!

It is made with Taffeta Ribbon for the stems, and felt, and some buttons from the Button Bouquet pack, it was very simple, but i do have some tips for you!!

1. Iron on your fusible backing onto your felt before you run it through your Big Shot. This saves a ton of time cutting after!

2. Make sure your iron is on the proper settings for the fusible webbing, otherwise everything will fall off.

3. If you are using your home decor every day they recommend stitching your felt appliqués after you have ironed them on, I may do some of this on the other pillow.

You may also notice that one of my pillows is tied with a ribbon, this is a great way to decorate just a little, it is removable, so if i decide i want a bit more color I can do that! Alot of our Stampin' Up! Ribbon can be used to do this!! I think that is all I have for you today!

A blast was had at Stampers Club!

We had a lot of fun tonight at Stamper's Club!!

Here are the projects that we created!!

This card was created using our Technique Spotlight, the Technique is called Cracked Glass

Here is a cute card using the Bigz Scallop Envelop Die and the Bigshot

This card is very nice and simple, no layers!! just a template and some ink!

And our final project of the night, our Reeces Pieces Owl! This cute little owl is made using a small bag, some punches and some Die's and the Big Shot!
