On the 2nd Day of Christmas my SU Demo Taught me
How to make a centerpiece or a place card holder out of a tree
So Todays Tutorial could be used as a place card holder for your dinner table at Christmas dinner, the star on top can be adorned with peoples names, or you could use them to put the different kinds of dip you have set out, or what ever you wish. You can also use the larger pennant on the die to make a larger tree that you can group with the other trees to make a centerpiece.
Supplies
Bigz XL Pennant Die
Big Shot
Star Punch
2 6x6 pieces of cardstock
4 6x6 pieces of DSP
Snail
Directions.
1. Fold all of the 6x6 pieces in half to make 3x6 pieces.
2. With the fold along the long edge of the small pennant
3. Run this through the Big Shot, you can do 2 folded pieces of cardstock at a time.
4. Using your snail and keeping the pennants folded glue one side, then layer another folded pennant right on top of it and keep doing this till all the pennants are attached.
5. Now you can open up the pennants to see if you are happy with the layers, for this tutorial i used 6 pieces, but if you wish to add more to make the tree fuller you can, being sure to remember the more pieces you add, you will get a larger gap in the middle of your tree.
6. Once you are happy with your tree, put adhesive on the last side that is up when all the pennants are folded flat. Then holding that piece, bring the other end of the pennants together with that one to glue it together.
7. Now you can punch a star in your choice of colors, write peoples names on it or cheeses, or dips and slide it into the top of the tree.

Very clever very cute!
